Happy Early Spring! It seems that Punxsutawney Phil was wrong as we are full into gorgeous spring weather already.
Eleven youth and eight adults spent Presidents' Weekend serving in San Francisco with City Impact and enjoyed the beautiful weather while bringing meals to the homeless and impoverished in the Tenderloin district. Last week at youth group they couldn't stop talking about their experiences and the people they met. It was amazing to see them so excited about serving Jesus and the community!

I also want to introduce you to my dear friend Alyssa Palermini. Alyssa will be our youth intern this spring while I take some time off for maternity leave.
Alyssa
grew up here in Elk Grove and has attended Living Water Church for the
majority of her life. She is a Living Water Youth Group alumni, having
attended confirmation, youth group, summer trips, and Mexico mission
trips throughout the years.
Alyssa graduated from Azusa Pacific University this past December with a degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Spanish, and will be joining the Teach For America Corps this summer. She's super excited to be leading the high school small groups this spring and hanging out with the students during youth group and the special events, and we are super excited to have her passion and energy!
When you see Alyssa at church, be sure to welcome her!
